The long wait in Europe is finally over: GENESIS introduces the new GDS mobile steel demolition shears – a lightweight with plenty of power. These mobile shears are ideal for working at great heights and for long-reach operations. Its fully featured scrap jaw design offers all the advantages of existing models. The low profile design provides a better view of the material to be cut.

A lightweight that packs a punch! Despite its light weight, the GDS has tremendous cutting power thanks to the large hydraulic cylinders. The inverted installation offers ideal protection for the piston rod.

Frame structure

Wear protection
The welded wear protection above the piercing tips protects the basic structure of the upper jaw against damage.

Piercing tip
Two-piece piercing tip with threaded connection provides optimum protection against wear and damage for the face side of the upper jaw.

Guide blades
The double guide blade system allows adjustment of the guide blades to the piercing tips on both sides, independently of the cutting blades.

Jaw geometry
The optimised jaw geometry allows for increased productivity.

Weight reduction
Despite its very low weight, the GDS has tremendous cutting power thanks to the large hydraulic cylinders.

Speed valve
The separate speed valve suspension reduces movement of the hydraulic hoses and tension on the hydraulic connections of the speed valve and the rotary union and extends the service life of the hydraulic hoses and connections.
